Good quality exhaust terrible fitment
By Hunter April 23, 2022Overall I am satisfied with this exhaust. I have owned it for about a year at this point. Great quality welds and fits like it supposed to overall. However the gaskets or something was not fitting properly and it was leading to a terrible exhaust leak. No matter how tight I tightend(I even snapped a bolt in half) the leak would not go away. I bought some grimmspeed gaskets and it still leaked. I had to double up the gaskets to stop the leak and a super annoying puffing sound coming from my car. Overall I would still recommend this exhaust but if it ends up leaking just know you will need some gaskets.

Get rid of the wimpy stock sound
By Tom July 21, 2021Just installed these on my 2017 WRX. This is how the car should sound. Had an issue getting the left side stock muffler off the last hanger and one of the new bolts was cross-threaded so I used one of the stock bolts. Other than that installation was quite easy. I did it by myself with no issues. I did not have any problems with clearances when tightening the bolts. I have about an inch from the cutout on the top and 1/2 inch on the sides. I was able to just bolt right up. I suggest spending the extra money to get the double wall, they look great.

Best bang for you buck
By Alex April 18, 2019Taking off the old mufflers is kinda difficult, just used some wd-40 and the bolts came right off along with the hangers. After that I had no problem putting this exhaust on, the fitment was perfect. The sound is way louder than stock. Cold starts will wake up a neighborhood, but idle is fine and can't hear it. For casual driving the noise isn't that bad but if youre sending it the car behind you is gonna hate you. I have a wrx so the FA motor is rich in fuel so I can get a lot of backfire out of it inbetween shifts and downshits. And plus when you rev you can hear the turbo whistle out the back.

By SRG April 2, 2019Its been two months since I've installed these on my 17 WRX and they absolutely sound great! Droning at highway speeds can be intolerable; especially at +70mph. I see some rust developing on these already (Boston climate) Interesting to see how ling these will last !

Just the right amount of loud
By Tyler January 4, 2019Installation of these is very straight forward. A can of penetrating oil for the bolts and some wd40 for the hangers will make your life A LOT easier. As for the sound: there is a very slight drone around 3k+ but its very minimal. At 70mph and below its nice and quiet. Cold starts are pretty loud, but once the car warms up it has a nice aggressive sound without being obnoxious. Overall I would recommend.

Awesome sound and look!
