Great Purchase
By Kyle August 5, 2022They look great and for never installing mudflaps. I followed Subispeed's video for installing them, although I was able to manage to install them without needing to take the wheel off. Had to use a 90 degree screwdriver on the rear mudflaps. Also the rear bracket was a bit difficult getting aligned when sticking it behind the fender. Still, would recommend this product as a functional and aesthetic upgrade.

Back flaps don't fit
By Kaleb December 25, 2021Not sure about any other years but my 2019 only fits the front mud flaps and the back don't fit at all. Super super frustrating that it says they will. Don't know what to do because I broke my front brackets putting the front on so now I only have front not back

Poor quality hardware/design
By HuskerBob June 10, 2021Yeah they look ok… not sure if they’re worth $173. The plastic S & U clips are garbage and don’t fit well which makes the install a fumbling, imprecise affair. Maybe have some double-sided tape on the spacer piece to keep it in place during install. Why are the brackets not already pre-bent?! The “floating” aspect seems shady. And the little plastic pin on the inner front is weak. Why not a little bolt/nut? I wouldn’t recommend.

Looks nice, Front Pop Clip Fell Off in 2 Weeks
By Patrick March 11, 2021I got the black with green/yellow lettering to match the 2018+ STI brakes. They look great, but today (2 weeks after install) I found front pop clips that hold the bottom inside of the mud flap to the bracket had fallen off both sides and one of the flaps was twisted up rubbing on my tire. Now I have to find a better solution than the original way too long pop clips.

By dade_murphy September 13, 2020Love these! Super easy install and they look great. I would recommend waiting until a tire rotation and installing when the wheels are off. I did have to use a different part of the "S" clip then the direction said though.

Easy Install, Beautiful Results

I ended up using a right angle bit to install the rear flaps, so there was no need to remove the tires. Not only do they look beautiful, but of course they function too! No brainer for any type of driving.

By TrboSnl April 11, 2018Purchased it for my 17 STI. I performed the installation myself with the wheels on. Initially I had trouble with the installation as maneuvering around the wheel was difficult but I was able to adjust and used the right tools to get it done. Great product!

Looks good
By Nathan April 8, 2018I went with these because I'm changing everything to gloss black. Hardest part was removing the screw clips. They were clogged with crap that told me I definitely need something. The red isn't real noticable. Not sure if good or bad yet. I have the lapiz blue. The rear flap bracket isn't real stable, could be installer..me, but bracket only connects with car in two places so it can shift. No clearenced with stock 18" wheels on premium 18 wrx. Can't wait for it to rain and wish I did this last fall when I got the car. These are real flexible.

Not what I expected with installation.
By Mike March 24, 2018It is IMPORTANT to note (and I think Subispeed should update their page to reflect this), these mudflaps do not completely fit the 18' WRX. The rear bumper has an additional 'lip' piece on the back (unlike the 15-17 model) that prevents the bracket from installing. The only way to get it on is to remove the lower plastic piece on the fender liner completely (which after install of the flaps, leaves a small gap exposing the inner part of the bumper). This is the only drawback for these. Otherwise quality is good and install on the front was easier.

Look good, performance???

Up close there are definitely some gaps but look good if your a couple of feet away....as far as functionality.... :///////.... it saves the bottom foot the flaps cover but still a bunch of spray up the side of the Rex. Expected a lot more. Hope they make a more drastic difference in snow in the coming weeks. Elsewise I feel like I just spent $179 to look like a rally car and not get the benefits. I’ll post a pic if I can figure it out. You’ll see the spray from wet road all over the side of car. Will update after I get some mud runs in but as of now not impressed.

Rear flaps...
By Michael August 30, 2017I purchased these because they say that they will fit my car (2017 WRX) but when I went to put the rear mud flaps on, the brackets they provided did not fit at all. I noticed that my car has some rear quarter spoiler of sorts to it so I can only assume that's why the bracket didn't fit. I think they should specify that if you car has this from the factory, these will not fit the rears. I had to custom fit the bracket to make it work. But overall, these were a great add to my WRX!

Looks Great, Horrible Quality
By SubiDubyDoo August 14, 2017After just 2 short months of install, the mounting clips that came with the set is breaking. The screws have become loose and the mudflaps are coming off. Emailed Rally Armor for replacement clips but they wanted to charge me $10 dollars. Save your money and go for the other brands.

I've had them for about 5 months, and they're holding up great! Took about 45 minutes, and I didn't have to remove my wheels. I highly recommend this product!

By Jason June 17, 2017Aside from having to take the rear wheels off and adjusting the bends for the back brackets to fit perfectly, install was straight forward. Had it installed in about 45 minutes with removing the rear wheels. Went with black flap and red lettering. great quality and a great addition with living on a gravel road. I can finally go over 20mph and not worry about rocks hitting the car. I didn't notice the placement of the clip for the back brackets in the install video but otherwise the video was more helpful than the paper guide.

Excellent Mudflaps
By Kevin June 5, 2017The mudflaps are designed to fit perfectly on the 15+ WRX/STI, and they do, which makes the installation pretty easy. The only obstacle is taking off the wheels, which in turn is easier than using a right angle screwdriver. I would recommend this product over any other brand of mudflap.

Amazingly Easy

Easy install, intially looked good.
By Sean May 28, 2017I purchased the white flaps with black letters, thinking they'd look great on the white car. Initially they did look great. Within a couple of months, the backside of the flaps has become dirty and impossible to clean. It's almost as if dirt is becoming imbedded in the urethane. I'll upload 3 images, the first one new, the second one after just 3 months, the third one after 6 months and complete removal from the car in attempt to clean them with dish detergent. They still look just as bad. I would highly advise against the white flaps.

By Collin March 16, 2017Now that they are installed, I am very happy with these flaps. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I liked the ability to adjust the side to side and vertical fit of the flaps. However, there are some notes to be made. As some have mentioned, a right angle or flex screwdriver will be needed to tighten the center fastener on the rear flaps if you leave the rear wheels on the car. The front wheels can simply be angled, giving you ample room to install. Lastly, the hardware could be improved. The screws, nuts, and the inner fasteners for the front flaps are good quality, but the plastic washers and plastic S and U retaining clips that are provided are just average. This kit would be perfect if a few more dollars were invested to provide stainless steel versions of these fasteners.

Black/Red Mud Flaps
By Cory March 14, 2017I purchased the black mud flaps with the red logo for my 2017 black WRX and they really complement my vehicle. I still have my stock tires and was able to put the mud flaps on securely without removing my tires with a little help from an offset phillips head screwdriver for the rear flaps. The total installation time for an average person, like myself, was 45 minutes. I've gotten plenty of complements on them as they really do enhance the vehicles appearance.

I already had the wheels off because I was putting on some spacers and new springs but I can see how the screws can be a pain to put in with the wheels still on. They come in a nice black box with instructions nuts and bolts. I promise you something you wont be disappointed with.

By wrxy17 January 11, 2017Really liked the options for different colored logos. Installation wasn't as easy as the video or their vague directions made it out to be. A $4 right angle screwdriver is a must if you don't plan on taking off the rear wheels. Overall took me about an hour and a half to install. Product looks great and keeps the slushy snowy mess off the sides.

I see a lot of people saying to remove the rear wheels for installation, but if you go to your local hardware store and pick up a right angle screw driver ($4) theres no need to remove the rear wheels. These make the car look more aggressive for such a small mod. Very happy and I'm looking forward to my next purchase from SubiSpeed!

Should've come from the factory with these!
By Justin August 2, 2015Picked these up the day after I bought my car and drove through a downpour, leaving the quarter panels looking pretty nasty. I did the install myself in my garage with nothing more than an open end wrench and a screwdriver. The install is very straight forward just make sure to turn your wheels in the direction of flap you're installing and bend the mounting brackets before putting on the car. Only complaint was the screws for flap retention instead of bolts and lock nuts, hopefully these remain on my car after driving around for a while.

Good product

There is a plastic piece that pops through to secure each mud flap and bracket on the lower inner corner which is made out of cheap plastic. When I installed them they all seemed secure, now my front driver side has gone missing. Kinda cheap for the price of these flaps. I will just replace them all with proper hardware and be done with it. Highly recommended and they look awesome.

Easy to install, great look
By Michael January 25, 2015Very easy to install, instead of putting the car up on jack stands i used a screwdriver ratchet to get between the screw and tie. Took maybe 45min to install all 4 if that. Great fit on the car and outstanding look.

Good lookin' flaps
By Will January 12, 2015Just installed my Black/White Mud Flaps on my White WRX. They look great and I look forward to seeing how they actually work at keeping mud/snow from kicking up onto the paint. My only real complaint is that the side of the Mud Flaps aren't very clean-cut, they're textured as if they were torn instead of machine-cut. It does bother me a bit whenever I walk up to the car. Install Note: The 'S' and 'U' clips that come with the kit are not pre-threaded. I found it helpful to take a screw and threading it in and out of all of the clips first before putting them on the car. That way when you're threading the screw through once you have everything set up you don't have to wrench as hard to get the screws seated.
