The lower portion of the mirrors on the 2015 WRX / STI are a plain, black plastic. With these overlays you can add some texture and character.
Sold as a pair. This is a vinyl product and has no actual carbon fiber content.
Installation
These install easily with a hair dryer and a little water. Removing this portion of the mirror to apply the overlay is optional and simple. Use your fingernail to pull at the inner corner of the cover. It will come off with a small amount of force. Clean the area and put a little water on the cover and vinyl. Position the piece and press down firmly. A hairdryer can be used to promote adhesion and improve fit. The material can be stretched. If you removed the cover, snap it back into place. Repeat for the other side. Allow 24-48 hours before washing vehicle.

Nice subtle addition
By Charles March 1, 2017Adding these to the mirrors gives off that nice new subtle look that it should have came with. Combining these with the other overlays makes your car stand out even more. Subispeed did great with these!

Excellent cut
By Joseph January 28, 2017These were cut very precise. I do a lot of vinyl wrapping and it's important you have an incredibly clean surface. I use 50% alcohol and 50% water and clean with a microfiber towel. Be sure to let it dry. Apply 3M Primer 94 to contours. The applicator pens work great. After application gently heat the vinyl to ensure the glue makes proper adhesion.

By mark December 2, 2015Pay for what you get here. It does not 'pop' when looked at. Do not get paste wax on it and forget about it. Might change it to real carbon fiber one day.
