Details
Adding a few touches to your vehicle can make a subtle difference. This 3D carbon fiber vinyl trim has an actual texture to it and is not immediately recognizable as a sticker.
The 3D carbon fiber vinyl has re-positionable permanent adhesive with an air egress design. This prevents bubbles from becoming stuck underneath the material when mounting. 5 year outdoor durability.
INSTALLATION
We recommend keeping a hair dryer or heat gun around. Please note the back of the product. It is labeled with an arrow pointing to the "top". Since this is contour cut for this specific application, you are going to want to align it properly from the start.
The material is very forgiving in case the alignment is not perfect so gently pull it up and gently push it back down when you get it aligned. In general it should have a uniform edge which overhangs the surface just a little bit.
The air egress channels will let you push out any bubbles. Always start from the center and push air out to the edge.
Once there are no bubbles, apply light amounts of heat around the edge and press down on the vinyl until it sticks to the edges.
Repositioinable permanent adhesive offers minimal initial bond growing to a permanent bond that facilitates the easy application of the product.

Easy to Install

Perfect little addition
By Chandler March 11, 2021I just installed mine today and I love it!, at first I was confused because the edges wouldn't stick solid around but after using the heat gun it helped the fitment look perfect. For reals though if you want something simple to add, this is a must.

Great fitment and easy installation
By Ryan December 29, 2016The overlay went on easy. I followed the recommendation of a thin layer of soap and water, this helped with alignment. Then I finished the installation with a heat gun. Excellent mod I'm very happy with the look and quality.
