Introducing Boomba's latest product for the 2015+ WRX. This billet aluminum shifter stop is CNC machined in house at Booma's facility in Wood Dale, IL. It's designed to drastically reduce shifter play while in gear. It essentially removes all the additional play your shifter has while in the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th gear gates. Pair this with their brass bushing, short throw shift lever, and shift plate; and you have a recipe for nirvana.

Reduce side-to-side slop of your shifter while in the 1-2 and 5-6 shifter gates. There is nearly a full inch of horizontal play to the shifter mechanism while in gear in the two outer gates (1-2 and 5-6) from the factory. This can lead to loss of feeling and confidence in gear selection. The Boomba Racing Adjustable Shifter Stop allows for independent adjustment of the two gates to significantly reduce side to side slop.
AN ESSENTIAL MOD FROM BOOMBA RACING
Due to the slop of the internals in the transmission, there is an unacceptable amount of horizontal slop within the 1st- and 2nd- gear shift gates. What should be little to no movement ends up being nearly 1.0 inch of play. This makes for an unnatural placement of shift gates and a lost feeling of which gear you are in. The Boomba Racing Adjustable Shifter Stop removes this play, reducing the horizontal movement. This makes for a solid connection between the driver and transmission.
