Great addition for the interior
I purchased the Alcantara version for my CVT. It looks great, nicely contrasts all the leather in the limited. Also looks great with the leather stitched JDM S4 console. Installation took about a half hour once I figured out what I was doing. Remove the CVT shift handle by pulling down on the chrome ring at the top of the factory shift boot. Then pop out the pin and pull the handle up to remove. Pull the bottom of the boot up around the bottom chrome rim. Remove the staples securing the factory boot to the trim ring. Then remove the trim ring by pulling the factory boot off the adhesive. Remove the shifter chrome ring by putting the factory boot inside out and removing the clip holding the trim in place. Install the shifter chrome ring by putting the JPM boot inside out and reinstalling the clip around the chrome trim. Pull the boot back to the alcantara side so its no longer inside out. Then insert the black inner trim ring inside of the bottom of the boot. Put the chrome trim ring over the outside of the boot around the black ring at the bottom. I did not need adhesive to keep it tight. Then reinstall the boot and shifter.

Looks great, easy install
This was very easy to install in my 2015 WRX MT. Removing the existing shift boot holder from the car took about 2 minutes with a nylon trim removal tool. Popping the black plastic inner ring from the silver outer ring took a bit longer as there are several clips to negotiate with. Inserting the new boot and re-assembling from there is trivial, and the results look great!
