AWE Track Edition Exhaust
For those looking for take it to 11, and leaving it there, go Track.
The Track Edition retains all of the precision engineering from the Touring Edition, minus the tailored mufflers in the rear sections. The result? Unfiltered BOXER® rumble both in and out of the cabin with enhanced crackles when shifting.
This version is known to get rowdy, and may be too much for many. For that reason, this particular version cannot be returned due to sound preference. Prepare yourself.
AWE understand that the EJ and FA20 have quite a different sound, so here is a clip they've provided for the STI equipped with their Track Edition exhaust.

We made it easy to convert from a Track Edition to a Touring Edition, or vice versa, if you decide at a later date to turn it up, or turn it down
All tip options include the AWE logo and double-walling to ensure a mirror finish even under hard usage. All tips are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste.

All AWE brand products have a fitment guarantee. This is our pledge to have made products that perfectly fit, for easy installation by a qualified installer. Coverage is provided to the original owner up 30 days from purchase (with proof of purchase).
Consultation toward resolving installation issues. Should AWE deem that installation issue is due solely to a manufacturing defect, AWE will issue a replacement product or portion of product, free of charge.
Labor is not covered.
If claim is determined by AWE at its sole discretion to be a manufacturer defect, AWE will cover two-way shipping to AWE either from consumer or dealer, and back to either consumer or dealer. AWE may also request a “Destroy in Field” of any defective parts.

Must have exhaust!
This exhaust is a must have!! If your looking to give your subie a deep rumble tone then this is the exhaust your looking for. It’s loud, but not obnoxious and a noticeably deeper more aggressive tone. I’m running this with a catted turbo xs downpipe and i’m amazed how great it sounds. The install is very easy and should take no more than an hour to do. Overall, I’m very impressed by the sound and not to mention the 4inch tips look amazing. Great buy 10/10
I only had the exhaust on my car for about 24 hours. the install was relatively easy. it was only time consuming for tweaks of alignment. now i got the Black tips and when adding the tips one of the bracket/Oring holder what ever you wanna call it the bolt snapped on me and i had to run around to find a replacement. that was the longest and hardest part of the install. I believe i just had a bad bolt manufacture defect.
For people in Ca: this exhaust can get loud. On cold start it is loud. at Idle it is very quiet about as quiet as the stock exhaust. While driving if you don't have a full lead foot the tone is not bad with windows up or down the tone does get louder on acceleration then quiets down a little bit at about 5,500 RPM. to be honest as long as your not being dumb you should be fine for that new exhaust law
Over all the tone is very aggressive even stock and you def feel the power on the high end
Better Than I Expected
This exhaust took a little longer to install than the Invidia N1 I was upgrading from did. But overall it's definitely worth it. I only notice a slight drone at lower rpm. Not to loud if you are driving normally, but really wakes up at high rpm.
Sounds amazing. Really stands out, no other exhaust on the market seems to have the deep rumble this exhaust has. Very composed and streetable when just cruising but aggressive when you get on it. Lots of nice pops on downshifts. No highway drone, but I do notice a slight drone around 2000 rpm.
Install was a breeze. I had a friend with a lift help me install it. We got it done in about 20-30 minutes.
Was debating on which catback I should choose and I am glad I chose this one. I have tried muffler deletes and the dual n1 and neither one really did it for me. This one has a great tone. I would say it has the same loudness as a muffler delete but without the rasp. I am using it with stock downpipe for now but I cannot wait to get an aftermarket j pipe on there to really open it up. Installation was super easy as catbacks usually are. This is the first time I have used slip fittings so it did take a little longer since you have to change the positioning to get the right fit. And the black tips look AMAZING.
I got this exhaust for my 18 wrx and my jaw dropped when I saw those fat exhaust tips man, best looking exhaust and sounds mid tone throaty, not as deep as an sti rumble but not honda ricer like. It's a good balance. Install was a breeze, I recommend getting the tips welded though.
Perfection yet different from everyone else
I got this exhuast expecting it to take about a 2 weeks to a month do to being made upon order from the company being made in Arizona I believe (live in New York) it arrived in 4 days. The welds are very nice and it comes with all the hardware including a donut gasket for stock downpipes. Fitment the tips just fit in the cutouts on the bumper and being adjustable allows makes it nice for matching the look you want. They do touch the top part of the cutouts but I was rear-ended with the stock exhaust so I don't know if the hangers on the car got bent so I rated 5 for fitment because I don't want to blame them for an issue that might be because of the car. Installation took about 45 minutes, hardest part was aligning the tips the way I wanted so it'd match on both sides I suggest measuring cause the name stamps/engravings make it hard by sight. Sound of the exhaust is perfect! It's not super droney unless all your windows are up and your at a very small rpm window of about 2000-2200 rpm but it can still be blocked out by the stock radio system. As for the rest of the time it has a bit of a euro car sound compared to the slight Civic sound found in alot of other exhaust (what I found when I was researching catback) and it will act like the car is rice crispy going snap crackle and pop Everytime you rev match your shifts. If possible I'll update this when I get the grimmspeed down pipe.
AWE TRACK EDITION CBE IS AMAZING!
This CBE system sounds great, really does unlock the rumble from the FA engine. No drone while highway driving but definitely opens up and comes alive once you put your foot into it! Install was a breeze, no guess work. When it came time to install the system I opened the box to inspect everything, the exhaust system itself has exceptional craftsmanship and everything looked good. Got to the hardware bag only to notice that 2 out of the 4 t-bolt clamps were there to install the tips (all other hardware for the install was there). I finished the install without the chrome tips but I immediately emailed AWE on a Saturday evening and got very quick response from John Voss that following Monday morning. He apologized for the inconvenience and promptly sent out not only the missing t-bolt clamps as well as other goodies for my troubles, got the tips installed and couldn't be happier with this system. Amazing customer service coming out of AWE Tuning!
