Vagueness be gone
When I first got this car, I found that when cornering hard while on the gas hard, it had a weird tendency to wander through the corner requiring more driver input to keep it on line. When I saw one of the install videos for this type or product, I was surprised how much slop was in the stock piece of rubber. I inspected mine and was surprised by just how soft that piece of rubber is.
This product works exactly as advertised, and that hunting through corners is gone.
Install was simple, but a set of instructions would be nice. That is my only knock on this product, lack of instructions.
Installed this from the bottom of the car while doing other things. I was wondering the whole time before installing why were there 2 allen screws. one longer than the other... It really pulls the 2 dampener pieces together. haha
You do notice the difference when making small adjustments to steering even at slower speeds. just in my work parking lot I noticed the amount of input I put into steering has changed. I like it. Its a must upgrade.
So I have seen the videos, I have read the reviews.
All I can say is I have a NEW new car! The car handles through the corner REALLY well. I have never felt the car react so smoothly and predictably before. Turn in is amazing, and I find I have to re-learn how to drive the car because my lines are based on the give that the car used to follow. Now... it's so much different.
The installation wasn't difficult. Letting the car up on blocks was best. A quick turn of the steering linkage revealed all bolts needed to release. Took about 15mins.
Driving at slower speeds is less noticeable, but, the difference is found when the car is moving 25+ and a sharper motion to the wheel is requested. Even if that motion is changing lanes while cruising on the highway. Wish I had put this on the car sooner!
